Terms and conditions
Read the terms that apply to orders placed with Verdant Relic Works.
1. Who we are
These terms apply to every order placed at Verdant Relic Works. Our company details (legal name, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number, VAT number, address and contact details) are listed at the bottom of every page of this website.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown in the basket before you place your order. Your order is final once payment has been completed.
3. Delivery
Physical products are shipped to the address you provide at checkout. We aim to ship within 5 working days. If a delivery is delayed by more than 30 days, you may cancel the order free of charge. Digital products (PDF files) are delivered immediately after payment by e-mail and in your account.
4. Right of withdrawal (physical products)
You may withdraw from a purchase of physical products within 14 days after you (or someone designated by you) received the products, without giving any reason. To withdraw, send us a clear statement by e-mail, for example using the model withdrawal form below. Return the products within 14 days after notifying us. You bear the direct cost of returning the products. We refund the purchase price including the original standard shipping costs within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back. Please handle the products with care during the withdrawal period; you are liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics. You can also report a return in your account or through the order page linked in your order e-mail.
5. Digital content
For digital products (such as PDF one-shots), delivery starts immediately after payment. At checkout you explicitly agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal for that digital content.
6. Handmade products
Our relics are made by hand. Small variations in colour, texture and finish are part of the product and are not a defect.
7. Warranty and complaints
You are entitled to a product that meets the agreement (statutory conformity). If something is wrong with your order, e-mail us within a reasonable time after discovering the issue, preferably with a photo. We respond within 14 days. If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can turn to the competent court or a recognised dispute resolution body.
8. Discount codes and gift cards
Discount codes are valid while stated, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be used once per order. Gift cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. The balance can be spent over several orders; it cannot be exchanged for cash, and gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
9. Privacy
We process your personal data as described in our privacy notice.
10. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. This does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory rules of the law of their country of residence.
